went to watch Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa with EeJien, Paw, n Danny in Mid Valley... as far as i know... this movie is done locally... and Visual Effect is by KRU.. a well known local visual effect company.. Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa is about the story of the character himself.. about how he unite 2 village into 1 to fight against Geruda Tribe... and the unite of 2 super Empire in the world, Rome and Han Dynasty to fight side by side against Geruda Tribe...
kinda wonder why is Rome is in the movie?! haHaha... that is the reason i went to watch this movie... the reason Romance Empire appear in the movie is because Merong Mahawangsa is during Romance time line.. and it was before the Langkasuka was founded... most important... Langkasuka is the unite of the 2 village into 1 by Merong Mahawangsa.. Mainly Langkasuka become famous because of him and maybe because of this strategic point become the check point of the trade road between East and West by sea... why?! for those who don't know... Langkasuka chinese name is 狼牙脩... and its geographic location is in Selat Melaka... and if i remember correctly.. it was somewhere in KEDAH..
its a nice story i would say... but visual effect and action wise... can be improve... i would suggest for those that who haven't watch this movie... go and watch it... its quite worth it..
its movie night... went for a movie with EeSoon, HuiFang and Justin in Pyramid... the movie that we choose we watch is RANGO.. it is an animated feature film... story is very nice... and the most memorable sequence was the part where they fighting for the water... in simple... the part where the character using bats to chase over a calvary convoy... Animation wise... i really really love it... especially the animation on the snake.. never seen such a nice animation on a snake before... besides the animation... i also love the background design for this movie... the most most memorable background was the underground part... even though its was just an underground... but the artist exaggerate more so that it look like the character are having some kind of adventure...
watched a movie call, SANCTUM... its a movie about surviving skills... i'm not actually interested in the movie... i more curious to know how they gonna fake the survival inside an underground cave that link to the open sea... so far... most of the survival skill they show is quite true... especially... only grab all the useful things when emergency such as rope, knife, light, etc... BATs SHIT is also one of the way to search for a way out if lost inside the cave... one more things that they didn't show is... the flow of the wind... because wind can guide u out too if u know how.. personally... i think this movie is quite nice... for me... i would recommended people to watch it...
