Day 40 in Hyderabad, AP, India

14 Aug 2009

Tomorrow is the Independent Day of India... that is why I can see the country Flag not just on the roadside... but also within the Rhythm & Hues Company... After we get into RnH main door.. we saw something special on the floor... an ART of the country map with India Flag on it... it is quite a nice piece of work in real life... but too bad... there is not enough lighting on the area for me to took a nice picture of it... therefore... I try my Best to take a nice photo of it... so that i can show it to other people roughly how nice it is...

Since tomorrow is also Friday... the whole RnH people advise us to stay at home tomorrow (Saturday) if we dont like Traffic Jam or Crowd... because there will be damn a lot than what we can imagine... thats the advise we took for reference... just incase we planning to go somewhere on Saturday...

while doing my training shots... i started to realise that Vishal is taking picture of some toys holding the India Flag... with the lighting he set up... it was quite a still life to shot at... therefore... I manage to took some picture of it... which i will only show 2 of them here... ^^

Day 34 in Hyderabad, AP, India

8 Aug 2009

Today is the day we (Pitt, Albert, Desmond, Steve n Me) move out from Malaysian Township to Banjara Hills... Reason... Match Moving batch is coming over to India... so as "senior" we have to give the best to the junior... and we move to somewhere... unfortunately... when we arrive Banjara Hills, G P Residency, Room 302... we feel that it was far more better than Malaysian Township... is just that we have to walk quite a distance to get food...

There are 3 rooms with 2 attach bath rooms and 1 main bath room in this house... Room 1: Pitt .. Room 2: Jothan n Steve .. Room 3: Desmond n Albert .. Living Room: Steve n Albert... There is also a lot of things has been ready in the friege...

After setting down... we decided to went to GVK Mall for lunch... besides... we also decide to shop around in the mall to kill time and wait for special party tonight at Coco Restaurant... Desmond bought a Shisha in the Mall while some of us bought Transformer toys including Me... while we simply walk around... we arrive at a theme park at the top floor... the theme park is just like the size of the Arcade in Sunway Pyramid... and the most unpredictable is... we actually bought a ticket and went into "The House of Horror"... WAhaHahAa.... at first we though it was just another "sucks" house of horror... but it was really far HORROR than what we have accounted...

in the night... Siddhart n his GF (forgot what name) and All BgPrep Apprentice (Saroph, Ravi, Manugh, Albert, Pitt, Desmond, Steve, PawXuan, and Me) except Khairul gather at Coco Restaurant to celebrate of completion of 2nd Stage of Training... and ready to start the 3rd Stage on 10 Aug.. we order quite a lot of things to eat and drink (alcohol & non-alcohol).. I remember i order one cocktail... Green Devil (Vodka+Mint+Chili)... cool man... u guys should try it some day... oh by the way... this is the first time i see Cocktail got Chili slice on the Cocktail's Glass... and the best part is... we eat almost around Rs7000 that night... ^^

Day 27 in Hyderabad, AP, India

1 Aug 2009

Today we have a trip at Salar Jung Museum... besides... we got additional 2 person tag along with us... Siddhart Shah (our mentor) and Suddhakar (our driver)... well... Salar Jung is quite an important person in Hyderabad ages ago... forgot his detail liao... just know that he has a hobbies... collect stuff from all over the world... so this museum can be consider as his "store room"... too bad we are not allow to take picture in this museum... so cant show u all any of his collection...

After the trip at Salar Jung Museum.. Siddhart guide Suddhakar to bring us to a delicious restaurant... its call: 10 Janpath, The Vegetarian Restaurant... we eat Vege because PawXuan is Vegetarian (only in INDIA)... once we get our table... Siddhart intro us some nice dish and set dish... all of us decide to order set dish... While we were eating halfway... Sid told us that we can refill Puri, Rice, Upma as much as we want... and we realise that for a normal people to get full... he/she eat around 40 of Puri... but for us... around 10 is more than enough for us... wow... they are totally crazy man...

Day 21 in Hyderabad, India (Part II)

26 July 2009

Around 1pm... Me, Paw, Desmond, and Khairul decide to go Charminar again... so we meet up and go to HiTec City Station to take train to Hyderabad Station... but when we arrive at the station... the train will arrive at the station on 3.15pm... we were kinda nothing to do within the 2 hour... than Khairul told us we can waste our 2 hour at Shilparamam... a place where Siddharth told us to check it out... which is somewhere not far from our current location..

we took an Atu to Shilparamam... and we pay for the entrance fee (20 Rupees per tourist)... when we finally get inside... we walk around the place... first stop... we went to a statue village... its a place where it show ppl how ppl life in the past... besides we also get to see how they proses clay pots... than... we walk around again and we found nothing... at last we reach handicraft market... which i dont really think it is handicraft market at all... somehow it more like normal market.. selling toys, cotton, pots, and etc... by 2.50pm.. we left the place and back to HiTec City Station to wait for our train...

3.20pm... Finally the train come and we are on our way to Hyderabad.. when we arrive... we took a Atu to Chowmahalla palace... The palace is a kind of Museum... there is a lot of royal things inside some are old but with very fine and beautiful carving on it... my favourite... there even weapon room that show all kind of weapon during the ancient time... and today is my first time to see a real life Katar.. those weapon are actually hanging on the wall... too bad my camera isnt good enought to take picture with that kind of far distance..because those beautiful Katar was hanging high up in the wall...

After all the tour in Chowmahalla Palace.. we went to Mecca Masjid... it was such a nice place... besides... there is also a lot of pegeons flying in and out of the Mecca Masjid area... they were being feed by a person in charge there... so tourist like us actually get the chance to see this amount of pegeons...

Than we went shopping on the street to look for something to buy as souveniers... we manage to buy something with a very low price... but worse of all... we keep holding back by those hawker... just hoping we would buy things from them... so that they can charge a higher price to us and to earn more compare to selling to local... Luckily all of us manage to get away from their tricks safely... ^^ we walk and walk and walk... untill we get tired... we decide to find some place to sit down and have a rest... On behalf of that... we can also wait for the evening to get the night view of Charminar...

just when we finish our resting... the sky is getting dark... and finally what we were waiting for has finally appear in front of us... the Night View of Charminar... it is really nice when you look at it... just that the photo i have here is not detail enought... i wish a have a better camera and better photography skill to capture such a nice view...

Day 21 in Hyderabad, India (Part I)

26 July 2009

Early in the morning (8am)... me and Desmond decided to go to nearby market to have a look... while Desmond was planning to buy some Lime and Mint for his special home made drink... it took us around 10 minutes walk to the market... At first... we saw some meat stalls along the roadside... the point is... there were so many stalls there and its only selling chicken and Mutton... After those chicken and mutton... seafood is the next... those sea food looks quite fresh... still we didnt ask for the price... coz our guess is expensive... why?! Hyderabad is in inland... there is no where that fish from the sea will sell cheap here...

After all those roadside stall... We arrive a big market with a big welcome entrance... so.. Desmond and I went into the market site.. in was a big experience for both of us... there was so many vege stalls there BUT the vege they sell is less than 10 types... in conclusion... the whole place selling the same things... just repeating stall after stall... the only different is... the freshness and the price of the vege... On behalf of that... the amount of Chili sold here shock us both... coz we never saw this amount of chili is sold in Malaysia Market stall...

Photo(s) of the day:

Day 20 in Hyderabad, India

25 July 2009

is Saturday again... YEAH!!! thats mean is a day we become a tourist and visit some historical place AGAIN... ^^

early in the morning... we take train from Hi-Tec City Station to Khaiderabad Station... than we went to Hyderabad City Mall... and again we get "molest" by those security guard... i wonder why every mall or historical place also got security guards "molesting"... XD as for this City Mall... i didnt take much picture for it... because the mall is not so beautiful compare to One Utama, Malaysia... well... i guess this is the design which it dont "WOW" me...

we get to shop around in the Mall... but first thing first... the reason we came to this mall is to go buy book in a book shop... and we found a book shop name Crossword... what a lovely name they have...after staying for almost 1 hour inside the bookshop... i bought a book... which i fall into it when i read some pages in it... the book title: Percy Jaclson and the Last Olympian... by: Rick Riordan... it is a fantasy story... the main character is something like Hercules... half boy half god... just that he is not the son of Zeus... but the son of Poseidon, God of the Sea... the story wise... i'm still on my way to finish it...

After we decide to call it for a day for this City Mall... than we make our way to Birla Mandir... The photo show is not taken by me... is roughly search from the internet... this is because... after get thro Birla Mandir entrance... photograph is prohibited... what is so special about this Birla Mandir is... the whole structur is entirely build in White Marble... This Birla Mandir is a Hindu Temple of Lord Venkateshwara... further more detail click HERE..

After some tour in Birla Mandir... is time to head for sourvenier store... i manage to buy somethings... I cant tell / show you what is it yet... because i plan to give some to my friends, relatives, and family as a souvenir... so is kinda surprise for them to see this things i bought... ^^ hope all of u ladies n gentlemen will love it... after the souvenir shopping... we call it for a day... and we headhome to Malaysian Township...

in the night... PawXuan and Steve decided to try cook some India dish... which they think is very easy to cook... the food is call Paneer... is a kind of cheese which it feel like biting tofu... most important... it is also PawXuan favourite food in India...
