(Morning + Noon)
depart to Penang around 9.10am arrive in Penang around 12.45pm... head straight to Butterworth to eat "Chicken Rice with the Yong Tou Fu Style"... while waiting for Meliza&Mike... Messa suggest that we head to nearby to get car wash... it was only RM3 for wash and RM4 for vacuum... so cheap... haHaha...
than instead of waiting Meliza&Mike... Mike's parents appear and lead us to eat local Rojak... at first i was thinking what so special about the Rojak... but when i reach that place and eat it myself... i can feel the total different in it... first of all... the way they eat Rojak is not by combining all the food and serve to you... but is you pick yourself what to eat which source you prefer... just like 'Lok-Lok'... Secondly... the source came with Spicy or Sweet... the taste of both the source is so much different compare to what i taste before... i guess maybe that why they call it Local Rojak...
After Rojak... Mike's Dad guide us to visit 北海斗母宫... he say something like they celebrating their 40th Anniversary... some say... is just the celebration of 九皇爷... so I'm not quite sure which is it... but one thing for sure... this is a celebration not from Buddhist... but Taoist!!! Mike's dad say the event will be start in the late evening or night... we are here to have a look at their equipment for their performance... to have a view on how busy the 北海斗母宫 can get...
After all that... all of us head back home to take a rest before the night event start... because we are so lucky to be here in Penang during this big celebration... so we cannot miss it... or else it will took us another x-amount of time to join this celebration again...
